New F1® Manager Season Score!
Posted on
F1® Manager will soon progress to a brand-new season! Just like the FIA Formula One World Championship™, the time just before the beginning of a new season is your chance to build your skills, rework your roster and get ready for the 2021 Drivers, Teams and Car Components…
Following the release of our latest game update we will now start tracking your Season Score, tallying up everything you've achieved throughout the whole of this season. Season Score is your opportunity to earn a head start next Season by playing F1® Manager.
The programme consists of Milestones that will track your progress in various areas of the current Season with each player receiving a Season Score between 0-100%.
This score is determined by 10 categories of in-game Milestones:
Drivers
Driver upgrades
Car Components
Car Component upgrades
Highest Series
Weekly League progress
Grand Prix™ Event Medals
Highest Grand Prix™ Event position reached
Total Race count
Total Win count
Progressing through Season Score will allow you to reach new reward Milestones. Each Milestone contains Constructors’ Championship (CC) Points that can be used to purchase rewards once the new Season starts.
Some Milestones also contain crates of differing value you’ll receive at the start of the new season to help you immediately, and the best players will also earn some permanent benefits to take into the new Season.
Please note that when the season change happens you will retain any remaining Bucks, Liveries, Boosts and Weekly League progress; however, your Flags and Series progress will be reset. Your coin total will also be reset, with any leftover coins being converted into CC Points.
Your 2020 Season Drivers and Components will also be locked and remain accessible as a Legacy Team that you will be able to use in Duels. If you also had a 2019 Legacy Team, it will be locked into a “Hall of Fame” that you will be able to access anytime, but cannot be used in races.
Once the 2021 Season begins, you will have the opportunity to spend your CC Points on new content in the Constructors’ Championship Store which we’ll be looking at in more detail in a future blog post.
If you did well during the 2020 Season, you’ll be able to unlock 2021 Drivers and Components before other players and get a head start. You can also choose to play the long game and use your CC Points later in the Season to level up your Assets. The strategy is yours!
